Fall on the Farm...Long post

Saturday morning it was cloudy and sprinkling, so what a better day than to go to Murray State's Fall on the Farm! We had to park a block away and take a hay ride shuttle to the farm. One of Hayden's friends from school happened to be there are riding with us. He wanted his picture made with "his school friend Riley" so of course I didn't mind.

Addyson didn't think to much of the Hay ride. She screamed and hid for half of the ride.

We met Hayden's friend Jack here to play together. The first thing the boys wanted to do was climb to the top of this and slide down. The boys climbed the rock wall while I took the stairs with Addyson.

Hayden loved it and went down numerous times.

Addyson went down once with me and once with Melissa. I think Melissa wanted to go down but not more than once. :)

For once the boys wanted to take care of Addyson. They held her hand and led her to the next activity.

This was one of Hayden's favorite stops. He loved riding this tractor. Abby has one at her house from when Kelby was little.

The corn pit was loved by all. Addyson loved trying to run around in it. She loved it so much she took some of it home with her in her pull-up. (Yes potty training is going very well, but I knew there weren't any bathrooms here.

Hayden wanted to make "corn angels" He then said it was easier in the snow. :)

This is Addyson in between activities just looking so cute! She didn't want to be left out of anything except the big slides.

Here is a group photo. From left to right a little girl Jack knows, Hayden, Jack, Addyson, and Charli Jack's baby sister.

Addyson loved the petting zoo. She thought the pig was hilarious. Hayden was busy chasing the ducks!

Both kids really enjoyed riding the ponies.

Here we raced the blow up horses! It took some coordination but both boys got the hang of it.

Both Mom's had to get in on the fun. Addyson loved her ride! I had fun too.

Addyson was even lucky enough to catch a ride with Jack!

On the hayride back to our car, Melissa took a family picture after Addyson stopped crying about having to take the shuttle back.

Pictures from our quick trip to St. Louis will have to wait for another night. :)

Celebrating Hayden's Gottcha Day

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated Hayden's Gottcha Day by going to a Murray State University football game. We invited one of Hayden's friends Jack.

Hayden and Jack spend a lot of time together. They both go to preschool together and then ride the bus to the same babysitter. They get along so well.

Addyson is pretty fond of Jack as well, but the boys don't always want a girl hanging around. The highlight of the game for the kids was watching Racer One run around the track every time Murray State scored. And for once they scored a lot!

This past weekend

It may be a little corny, but I asked Grant to take a picture of the three of us. We haven't had our picture made in awhile together so I couldn't resist.

Last weekend was Labor Day weekend. After Hayden's nap we asked him to go play quietly in his room since Addyson hadn't woken up yet (Plus we were trying to take a nap as well). He was so quiet I forgot that he was even awake. When I went to look for him I had a hard time finding him. He was in his closet playing on my Ipad. I couldn't complain to much because he was learning his letter sounds. He knows almost all of them. :) Thanks to Starfall.com

This afternoon Hayden begged to get dressed in one of his costumes. When I finally gave in he asked if Addyson could wear one too. They had fun playing around the house.

They play so well together. Here they are playing house. Hayden is the Daddy and Addyson is the Mommy. Yes, I did have to say that because sometimes Hayden wants to be the Mommy. They were having coffee and the babies are in bed on the right.

After playing for awhile they of course caught me with my camera and wanted their picture taken.

Swimming at Abby's House

I know that I have to get better about posting pictures in a timely manner, but it is so hard when we are constantly on the go. So here are the pictures of us swimming a few weekends ago at Mom's.

Hayden loved the slide!

Addyson really wanted Uncle Kelby to get in the pool but he had work to do. He just bought a new house and it needs a lot of work.

The boys did stop working long enough to have lunch with us.

Here are the cousin's eating their first picnic lunch together. Adalee is mainly just watching. Notice that she is in the walker that Addyson loved so much.
