Happy Birthday Daddy!!


This is Hayden eating Daddy's special birthday dinner, homemade spaghetti and chocolate cake.

I love this picture because Hayden know about when Daddy is suppose to be coming home and loves to look outside.

Hayden is such a big helper. I hurry up and take out all the things that will hurt him and then let him hand me things to put away. He can't quite reach the items on top yet so I move those things to the bottom.

Hard Work = Tongue Out

It seems that whenever Hayden is having to concentrate, he has his tongue out. Here he is trying to get me to move out of his way so he can go down the stairs.

Hayden loves to climb these stairs. He is getting really good at it.

He hasn't quite got this one figured out yet. I know it won't be long. It is hard for me to believe that he is already 15 months old.

Outside Play

Yesterday Hayden and I played outside for a long time. It was a beautiful day, and I did not have any papers to grade. Hayden loves to play on the deck and with our dog Tapper. He got the guts to go down the slide on his butt. It took three tries before he really enjoyed it.

This was Hayden's first try.

Third time is the charm.

He was so proud that he finally figured it out. Later he fell down the deck stairs, but was okay after a few hugs and kisses.

Starting Over

I am starting this blog as a way to keep track of our lives with Hayden. I am not good at scrapbooking or even putting a baby book together, so I am using this as a way of doctumenting Hayden's life. I also hope that this will help keep our family and friend that don't live close by updated on what we are doing.



Here are a few pictures of this past weekend.

I downloaded two more but I am not sure where they ended up. I will try again tomorrow. This will take some time learning how to do this.
