Wedding Day

Kaleb and Heather's wedding yesterday was so beautiful. We all had so much fun and have so many stories to tell.

The first one that I can think of is about the precious little girl who couldn't find her Mommy yesterday. I left the lodge around seven forty-five to head to the church to have my hair and make-up done. Grant stayed with the kids and brought them to the church a little after eleven. This whole time I was worried about how Hayden would react to seeing me in a fancy dress with my hair done. I really should have been worried about Addyson. She didn't recognize me and didn't want to have anything to do with me all day. Needless to say she wouldn't stand with me to have any pictures taken. All formal pictures were taken without her. :( On the positive side of this it made Grant's day that she wanted him. :)

This is the beautiful bride.

Hayden was a ham like always. He loved being dressed up and getting a lot of attention. The hard part of the day with him was waiting in a little room waiting for the ceremony to start. I had hid a new toy in the front of the church where we had to stand and all he wanted to do was walk down the aisle and get it. Both kids and Grant went home after the ceremony and cake. The both didn't have a nap and really needed one. :)

I enjoyed the opportunity to get pictures taken with my brothers. Kelby was very kind to me last night. When we had arrived at the lodge for the outside reception, I ditched my heels for a pair of flip flops. Well, Heather didn't have any so I gave her my pair, leaving me shoeless. I was suppose to head to the tent but there was mulch everywhere and I didn't want my feet hurting anymore than what they already were so Kelby carried me across. :)

It was so nice to have so many family members fly in for the wedding. All of Mom's sisters were able to come. They are so much fun to hang out with.

After a late night of great food and dancing we spent the night again at the lodge. I woke up this morning had a delicious breakfast with everyone and then headed home to be with Grant and the kids.

Hayden's Gottcha Day

Hayden's Gottcha day was this past Wednesday. Since we celebrated this past weekend we didn't do anything special.

Abby, Dede, and Poppy did come and eat breakfast with Hayden that morning for Grandparents breakfast. It was fun to have everyone there to eat with him.
This is just a cute picture of Addyson. I didn't want to leave her out.

Celebrating Hayden's Gottcha Day

We celebrated Hayden's 3rd Gottcha Day as a family today. Although his Gottcha day is not until Wednesday, September 15th this is going to be a busy week. We started today with some fun at YaYa's Island in Paducah. We have never been there before and we really enjoyed it.

As you can see both kids really enjoyed it. Addyson loved the three and under area. Hayden was big enough to play everywhere but stayed the majority of the time in the same area as Addyson.

Addyson was very scared of one little girl here. I am thinking she was four or five and had no parent supervision. One time she had her arms wrapped around Hayden's neck from the back trying to tackle him. Yes Mom, we quickly got her off of him. She later tried to take toys away from Addyson.

We also braved Chuckie Cheese's for supper. Hayden was so excited to see him and wanted his picture taken. Addyson on the other hand screamed bloody murder. I hope this is no indication of how she is going to react at Disney World in THREE weeks. I am getting so excited!!!

Upcoming events this week include Grandparents breakfast at Hayden's school and Kaleb and Heather's Wedding. Both should be loads of fun and have lots of pictures!!

This and That

Addyson really loves Sonic's happy hour. She gets so excited sometimes that she will squeese the cup until it breaks. It can make for a very sticky car seat!!

Addyson loves to climb. Especially if we leave anything that resembles food up on the dining room table. She loved playing with the bowl and spoon.

Last weekend we were in Sebree for a wedding shower for Kaleb and Heather. It was a wonderful party and lots of fun. The cake below tasted just as good as it looks. The wedding is coming up shortly!!

This is Hayden at the party. I was bound and determined not to let him on the water blow up but he wanted to so bad and listened when I told him no that Grant and I gave in about thirty minutes later when he was still standing right beside it just watching all the other kids playing.

We played in the back yard yesterday morning while Grant was mowing the lawn. Hayden wanted Addyson to go down the slide with her. She is actually not upset just wanting to go down quicker. I asked Hayden to try to hold her so I could get a picture.

In the end both kids were pretty happy.
