Sweet Corn and Sunglasses

Hayden loves his sunglasses. This is his attempt to put them on by himself.

We have been enjoying some wonderful sweet corn. Hayden won't eat the corn while it is on the cob, but loves to try to eat the cob.

Fun in a box

Everyone always says that the best toy for a child is a box. Can you guess who is in the box?

That's right Hayden and Daddy. We had to buy a carseat for Grant's car because he is going to be picking up Hayden more.

Hayden is no exception, he loves playing in boxes.

Hayden looked up at Grant and said bye bye and then closed the box.

We started out pushing Hayden around in the box. After he had worn us out he decided to push the box around himself.

Beach Week 08

Hayden, Grammy, and I headed for the beach over a week ago. We flew out of Evansville. Hayden was amazing on the flights. I feel like I can take him almost anywhere right now.

Having a plastic pool on the beach was wonderful. Hayden loved to play in it and I could sit down and relax as well.

We had a pool at our beach house as well. Uncle Kaleb gave this float to Hayden. As you can tell he loved it. The horn really worked.

The first day Hayden was unsure of the ocean. It didn't take him long before he was loving it. By the end of the week he wanted to crawl into the ways, that way the waves would hit him in the face.

I love this picture of Carson and Hayden hanging out on the beach together.

Hayden had two special friends at the beach, Rachael and Heather. Anytime they entered the room he would scream and run to them.

One of the best parts of the week was visiting Grandpa.

We had a lot of fun at the beach and will always remember how much fun Hyaden had his first time.

Cute Pictures

I just wanted to post some cute pictures of Hayden before we leave for a week at the beach. I doubt if I will be able to post any pictures while we are gone.

Highlights of our 4th of July Weekend

We had a wonderful 4th of July Weekend. Friday it was suppose to rain so we just relaxed at the house in the morning and then went to the river in the afternoon.

Grant walked Hayden down to the water. He loved it and did not want to leave.

Friday night we went to see fireworks. We parked a little farther away than usual because I wasn't sure what Hayden would think of the noise. Needless to say I shouldn't have been worried. He loved every minute of it. He would growl Wow after every firework.

Saturday we went to Murray to see the parade. Hayden wasn't sure about people throwing candy at him at first, but soon he was loving it. We even had a whole bucket dumped on us. He called the horses dogs. Grant and I have decided any animal that has four legs is a dog in Hayden's eyes.

After the parade we went and visited family. Dede and Poppy had the pool ready for Hayden when he woke up from his nap. As you can see he had a blast.

A Day at the Park with Friends

I ran into Stephanie at Walmart yesterday. We decided to meet this morning at the park to let the kids play together. Here on the slide is Kory, Carson, and Hayden.

Kory was great with Hayden and making sure he was safe on the slide.

Kaden in Stephanies youngest. He and Hayden are seven months apart. We really enjoyed our morning playing with them.

A Quick Trip

Hayden and I didn't have much planned for this week so we made a quick trip to see Grammy and GG. Hayden had a ton of fun playing in his house and car.

Hayden found a cell phone in the house. He calls all phones Bye-bye.

Hayden decided to get into his car on the wrong side. Half way through he decided he needed a little help.

Since we were outside Grammy wanted to water her flowers. Hayden decided he needed watering also. He loves being sprayed with water.
