Around the House Fun

Hayden has been sporting some crazy styles lately. Here he is in his swim suit and my green winter socks. He said it was great because his chest is cold and feet are warm. Seriously, Hayden is dressing himself lately and is really doing a great job picking out his own clothes. He will even come to me and ask if something matches. When he doesn't he wants to change. :)


Addyson is following in her brother's footsteps and wanting to be in her pajamas all the time. She is just so cute and she knows it!


Sunday before church I was packing my camera to take with us to Abby's house, and Addyson wanted her picture taken. I asked her to say cheese but got this weird smile. I then asked her to dance and received a wonderful true smile.


Hayden actually wanted in on the photo action. I wish they would have stayed still for just a minute more so I could have focused the picture on Hayden more but it is still pretty cute.

I will upload pictures of swimming with Abby soon. We had a blast with her.

Back to School....A lot late!

August 8th was the first official day of school for both kids. Some looked forward to it more than others. Believe it or not Hayden was the one looking forward to going to school. He just didn't want his picture taken.


Addyson on the other hand didn't want to go to school but always loves having her picture taken. The first week Addyson started KY Kids the staff said she was grouchy mid morning. We figure out that she was hungry. So we started trying to feed her breakfast before she left even though they will feed her breakfast.

Once Hayden got to school he was a much happier kid. He loves being one of the older preschoolers. He came home the second day and said, "The new kids don't know how to sit on the carpet." Ha! Ha!


This is Hayden after the first day of school. He came home, put on his pajamas, and wanted to watch cartoons. For one day he got his wish.


Addyson is starting to really love school. She is doing so much better when Grant drops her off in the morning and it has been awhile since she has had a potty accident. (She is still having several potty accidents at home though.)


She really thought she was playing the guitar. I love watching her dance. She has learned all her moves from Hayden. I am not sure this is a good thing. :)

Drive in plus visit with Abby

With school starting back I have been so busy I haven't taken any time to do with anything with pictures I had taken a couple of weeks ago.

A couple of weeks ago Grant and I took the kids to Calvert City to the drive in movie.

We tried their famous hamburgers and chilled out in the back on the car waiting for the movie to start. I think the kids had more fun waiting for the movie than actually watching the movie.

We also took one more trip to Abby's house before school started. Kaleb got to ride with Uncle Kaleb and Heather on their new ride. Adalee fits perfect in the middle.

Addyson chose to ride with Mom and I in the car and was just as happy.

Later that same night Kelby and Audra came over to Mom's with Hadley. Hadley and Addyson are a month apart. They both played really well together as much as two year olds can.

The next morning Heather ran to town and left Adalee with us. Addyson took her job very seriously. She made sure Adalee was happy and taken care of.

Adalee is getting so big. She will be crawling before we know it.

Hayden took his job seriously as well.
