Halloween Part 1

We have had a very busy week. We have not been home this week before 8:00. I know what you are thinking that is not late but with a two year old it is.

Today, after parties at school I ran to Ms. Cindy's house for Hayden's Halloween party. I was kind of dreading this because last year Hayden wouldn't cooperate for the group picture. I didn't need to worry at all. He was perfect. It was Jack's turn this year not to like the picture time.

Superman and Batman had a blast playing together. They would run to eachother to see who they could knock the other one down first. Both of them laughing the entire time.

After the party we headed to see Grant at the bank. When we arrived he was in a meeting, but we still trick or treated around his department. As soon as he was done he took Hayden around everywhere. We went in with one pumpkin but came out with two full of candy and toys. Hayden had a lot of fun.

This was early yesterday morning. I wanted to get a picture of him in his cute pumpkin shirt but he wasn't really wanting to cooperate. He was just wanting to play with his toys. Can you blame him.

Garth made an appearance at our house yesterday morning as well. I am not sure who enjoyed dressing up more Grant or Hayden.

Today we have lots planned. We are just hanging around the house this morning. This afternoon after a early nap we will start trick-or-treating out in Crossland. Then we will head back to trick-or-treat around the neighborhood, and finally end up at church for trunk or treat and a chili supper.

Just Plain Cuteness

These are just some of the cute pictures I took this weekend at Mom and Dad's.

We played a lot of football with Hayden, trying to get him to catch the ball and not throw it so hard.

This is after he threw the ball to GG.

Superman

What a beautiful couple of days we have had. I love this fall weather. These pictures were taken last week but weren't on my computer until recently. Hayden loves dressing up. I wish I had more dress up clothes for him. Maybe Christmas....

Below, he is flying to Dede's house to wish her a Happy Birthday today. We love you and hope you have a wonderful day Dede.

Hayden's first driving and cooking lesson

I love this picture of Dad and me. We took it this morning before we headed to church.

We had a wonderful weekend together. Hayden and I made Halloween cupcakes. We went to the farm and visited with Granddaddy, rode on his Kubota and helped the boys get in the field.

When we came home from the farm we played in the house. Luckily I had my camera out when GG and Hayden decided to tickle Grammy. (I hope I don't get into to much trouble posting this picture.)

On our way home from the farm GG let Hayden drive. I am so thankful that it is several years before Hayden will be behind the wheel alone. It was very scary. As you can tell by him posing for the picture, he didn't care much about watching the road.

He also drove like he was dancing. It was cute but scary.

Anyway, we are back home and ready for another week. I do have some cute picture of Hayden being Superman that I will post later this week.

MSU Football game

TOUCHDOWN!!!! That is what Hayden was anticipating before the game.

Unfortunately, we did not see Murray score one while we were there. Hayden had been looking forward to the game for two days. He enjoyed seeing Racker One and Dunker. He wanted to hug Dunker so bad but he didn't come close to where we were sitting. I was afraid he would get to cold and not want to sit, but he loved everything about the game. He enjoyed watching the band, the cheerleaders, the football players, and even the popcorn.

We tried to get a picture of the two of us at the game but there was always something grabbing his attention. I have no clue what we are looking at here. At half time we hadn't scored yet and we (Grant and I) were cold so we left. Hayden protested but we promised him some good Mexican food and he went happily.

After eating we headed out to spend the evening with Dede and Poppy. We had a lot of fun. It was a great and relaxing Saturday.

Harvest Time on Tapp Farm

Fall Break started off wonderful. Friday night we went shopping for some fall clothes for Hayden. He has outgrown all of his clothes. Saturday morning was very quiet until we headed to Grant's company picnic. We weren't there thirty minutes before Grant sprained his ankle in an inflatable. Sunday was rainy and relaxing. After church Sunday night we spend a nice eventing over at the Acree's house.

Monday morning Hayden and I headed to Sebree to spend several days. Monday was a picture perfect fall day. Before lunch Dad took Hayden and I out to the field where they were harvesting corn.

We got to ride in the combine with Keith. They were harvesting test plots so there were several people in the field. We would have to stop and dump the corn each time we went down the field.

After lunch we took a nap and then went back outside to play. Hayden could hear the other combine across the street harvesting beans but he couldn't see it.

Mom and I found this toy tractor that was Kelby's when he was little. Hayden would pretend that he was GG when he was driving the tractor.

He even knew that he needed it work on it. :)

Mom loved to push him around but I think Hayden love it more.
Tuesday was raining so we went shopping in Evansville. Kelby and Kaleb come over later that night to have pizza and hang out. Hayden loved playing rough with Kelby.
Wednesday we just hung out at the house. Kaitlyn and Heather came over to visit and play with Hayden. I came home in the afternoon.
I am spending the rest of the week cleaning house, working in my master's class, and getting ready for the next nine weeks. I am hoping I can talk Grant into going to the Murray State's Hoemcoming game on Saturday. We'll see.

Halloween Preview

This is just a little preview of what we have in store for Halloween. We had to get Hayden's costume early this year, because he is on the cover of Paducah Parenting magazine. We did the photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. Hayden and four other little boys from CFSB made such a cute picture.

BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom these are for you!
This picture is from supper last night. He was acting really silly.

Can you guess what my son has learned to do? Let me just say he is all boy. There is no doubt about it.

He still has a beautiful smile even if he does like to spit.

I am not really good at getting close up pictures of Hayden but I kind of like this one. I like that I can see his little dimple and his big smile.

Those are kissing for me as he runs to the front steps to play with the rocks he knows he should not be playing with.

1 more day until fall break!!!!!!!
