Just a nice summer day at home!!

There are not many days that we get to just stay home and play, but today was one of those blessed days. The weather was perfect so we took advantage of it and played outside.

Hayden was so excited to get to play in his pool.

I love this picture because this is showing Hayden's true side. He finds sneaky ways to get his sister. He knows I will not allow him to throw water on Addyson's face so he throws it on her back.

She is telling me, "Did you see what Hayden did?" He threw water on me!!

Hayden is just glad that he got away with it. Actually he was laughing because he threw water on me next. He thinks he is sooooo clever.

Family pictures coming soon......!!

Birthday Girl

My sweet baby girl turned one on Saturday!! I can't belive she has been home already for four months. The time has flown by.

We had an amazing party that afternoon with our amazing family. We had close to thirty people in our house. I wish it would have been a litle cooler so we could have spent more time outside, but overall it was a wonderful day.

You can see all the kids in Hayden's room playing. It was so nice for all of them to come.

I love the look on Addyson's face. It is like are you seriously putting fire with in my reach and not expecting me to grab it.

She had a little help tearing into her cupcake. Grant and I both thought she would tear into it, but she didn't. Come to find out she had two hotdogs for lunch. :)

She really enjoyed all of her new toys. She loved opening them, or should I say watching me open them.

Reading and Lots of Baseball

I remember taking a picture of Hayden when he started bringing me books to read to him. I love that Addyson is already doing that. Isn't she pretty cute walking as well.

Hayden loves to sit on Grant's shoulders. So we were a little surprised when Hayden asked in Addsyon could sit on his shoulders. He took it very serious and she seemed to enjoy it as well.

We have already played three t-ball games since Saturday and have one more this week. Addyson is even getting in the spirit of this busy week as well.

Addyson is just walking here but she looks like she is dancing. She does love music and will bounce when she hears it on the radio or tv.

I took a picture of Hayden with his game face, but it just didn't look like him. So instead he smiled happily for me.

Just a couple more days before my baby girl turns one. I can't believe she is getting so big.

Hayden's 1st T-ball game

Hayden had his first official T-ball game this morning. He was so excited that he didn't want to take his helmet off. Below he is sitting by some of his best friends. I love that he is surrounded by such good kids.

This is Hayden going up to bat. He already had the bat ready. He has struggled in practice being able to hit the ball, but I think he has finally got the hang of it. He did an amazing job hitting the ball.

Grant was the first base coach. I just thought that it was adorable to see the two of them together like this.

Addyson sat with me and Dede, until I was called to be the second base coach. Thankfully, Dede was there to help.

We have games pretty much every Monday and Tuesday nights through the months of June and July. In my opinion, that is a pretty long season for this age....or just for their parents. :)

Super Star

Addyson is our little super star. She knows that her birthday is coming up so quickly. We are preparing for her big day next Saturday.

Before we can totally focus on her birthday we have a Saturday full of T-ball. Hayden's team has been practicing for several weeks. I can tell he has improved a lot but tomorrow will be really interesting. I am so proud of him and Grant for helping coach his team.
