Super Sunday!!

This morning we drove to Madisonville to go to church with Mom and family. I enjoyed going to Pennyrile. I hadn't been there for quite some time. After church we headed to Mom's house for lunch. We tried to get a picture of her with her three grandchildren, but as you can see we need to have it professionally done.

Hayden and Addyson loved playing with their uncles. Addyson had just knocked Kelby's castle over. She thought it was hilarious.

Hayden use to be the one knocking down the castles and now that Addyson is, Hayden isn't to excited about it. Especially if she is knocking down the castle he built.

This is Kelby's hat that he always wears. She thought it would look better on her.

I just thought of this picture grom earlier this week. Addyson must have a thing for wearing her hats backwards this week. :)

Playing catch up

I'm playing catch-up on some of the pictures I have taken this past week. To begin with are a couple of pictures from last Saturday. Addyson had a wonderful first Gottcha Day.

Hayden enjoyed it as well! He is on the Polar Express. To say that he is obsessed with Polar Express is an understatment.

On Monday Hayden had his Valentines Day party at school. He didn't feel well and really didn't understand why I wasn't in my classroom.

They had three stations the kids visited. The first one was to pass out valentines to their friends. Next Hayden headed over to the heart weaving station. He struggled with this but finally managed to get part of it done. Finally he went to the sorting station. He wass given a baggie of sweet tarts. He had to sort them out by color. He was totally missing one color and didn't understand why he didn't have it.

Addyson didn't have a Valentines Day party but she sure was cute!!

A year ago today!!

A Year ago today Addyson and I flew to Evansville to meet up with Grant and Hayden and we were united as a family. It was a day that I will never forget.

She was such a blessing to our family.

Today she is growing and learning so much every day. She loves to color, draw, eat, and take care of her baby dolls.

She especially loves playing with her Daddy.

Addyson already has learned to sweet look that makes Grant do whatever she wants. He is in so much trouble when she gets older.

Today we are celebrating by taking the kids to Ya Ya's Island to play. Afterwards we will do a little shopping in Paducah and hopefully we can talk Grant into taking us out to supper. I just need to get Addyson to give him the sweet look. :) We will have to work on it more.

Introducing Adalee Tapp

At around 4:43 pm Wednesday night Adalee Tapp was born in Henderson Kentucky. I was blessed to be apart of the day. While there was a snow storm going on outside we we sitting in the waiting room waiting to hear that she was born.

She was 5lbs 12 oz and 18 inches long. For a baby four weeks early it was such a blessing for her to be so big and healthy.

I love this picture of Kaleb showing Adalee off in the nursery window. He is going to be such a great Daddy.

Surprising Snow Day!!

On January 26th (Mom's Birthday :) ) We had a snow day. The kids found an empty box and had a ton of fun together.

Later that day my door bell rang. I figured it may be one of the neighborhood kids seeing if we wanted to play in the snow. Instead the mail man had left this incredibly large box by my door. We could wait to open it.

My sweet cousin Rachel that lives close to DC had sent such a treasure to Addyson. She handed down two precious American girl dolls (twins). Immediately Addyson loved on them.

She even sent Hayden some cool trucks that roll and make noises. Excuse the Christmas pj's. Remember it was a snow day and we hadn't gotten dressed. :)

After a quick lesson that the new beds weren't for Addyson to sit or lay on she put her new babies to bed.

We can't thank Rachel enough for these amazing dolls. Addyson really loves them.

Birthday Pictures....Finally

On January 22 Hayden turned 4 years old. He was super excited about his birthday and pretty specific with who he wanted to come to his party. He wanted his family to come. He wanted pizza for supper and lots of "birthday" to eat.

That morning Grant and Hayden took a trip to Paducah to get his big birthday present, a fish tank. I think Grant wanted it as much as Hayden did. They came home with a beautiful tank but no fish. We had to wait a day or two to get the water temperature right before the fish could come home. :)

Toy Story was the theme of the party. Hayden's cake was made by The Cake Lady in Murray and it was awesome and tasted delicious.

Addyson felt horrible the whole day. We didn't know at the time that she had an ear infection and red throat. We took her to the doctor the next day for some meds.

They did both enjoy dancing to the music cards. Dede and Abby both know how much my kids love those cards. They play them all the time.

They even colored together. Well...Addyson colored and Hayden stacked the markers. At least they were playing with the same toy. :)
