End of Summer

We eneded our summer vacation tonight with an awards ceremony for Hayden's T-ball team. He was very proud of his medal.


I think these boys have had a lot of fun together this summer. I think they all learned a lot about baseball but also about playing together (in the dirt and on the field).

This is after the awards ceremony. We took the kids to Sonic for a treat and got some slushes. Addyson dropped her and her cup busted. Normally I wouldn't have taken a picture of her throwing a fit, but I did it for two reasons. One, so many people say they never see her cry, and two doesn't her hair look cute it pigtails. :)

Fortunatley, she can turn the tears off pretty quick and I did get a picture of the smiling Addyson.

Well, school officialy starts a week from today but I have meeting every day until. Part of me is excited about heading back, but the other part of me is wishing for more time with my kids. Hayden won't start preschool (at my school) until the 16th, but he is ready.

I have some more pictures of the past couple of days that I will hopefully have a chance to post soon .

Random Cuteness from the past week

I made a point this week to pick up my camera more. I failed to put them on my computer in a timely manner. Hayden has been busy building houses with pillows.


Addyson is still growing and teething this week. Such a sweetie!

Friday night Hayden and I went on a date. We went to Mr. Gatti's for some pizza and games, and then to the movies. I love this picture of us before we left. Addyson wanted in on the fun and you can see how excited Hayden was to be going some where without his little sister. :)

Isn't Addyson so cute in this beautiful dress. I have been waiting for her to fit into this one. She looked so precious.

Beach Week

4th of July Fun!!

We have had a wonderful holiday weekend.


Yesterday morning we did a little shopping, came home to nap, and then headed out to Dede and Poppy's house for a cook out. :) Uncle Anthony gave Hayden a ride to see the corn.

Addyson rode her cute little pony. It is the closest thing to a real pony she will ever have. :)

After a wonderful meal we all headed to Murray to watch the fireworks. We made a stop on the ways to pick up some sparklers for Hayden.

He has never been scared of fireworks so we thought this would be a good year to try sparklers. We went through with him how to hold it away from him and how to hold it at the bottom. Grant had a little trouble getting it to light, while I was prepared to take a picture of Hayden holding the sparkler. Neither one of us were prepared for how scared it might make him. He jumped and quickly dropped it, and ran around behind me. Maybe we will try again next year.
