Christmas Morning

Santa did come to our house and brought everything the kids asked for. Addyson wanted a kitchen of her very own. Hayden started out asking for a bike and swithced to a barn at the last minute. Luckly Santa was able to find one and got it to our house just in time.

Hayden loves his barn and has played with it so mcuh.

Hayden loves his big bike....

but maybe not as much as Addyson does.

Grant and I bought some items for around the house for eachother for christmas so we didn't have anything to open christmas morning. But the kids remembered to get Grant and I something. They are so thoughtful!!

After opening gifts we headed to Granny Orr's for Christmas breakfast and presents. We arrived home around one and the kids slept and until threeish. :) We then headed out again to Mamma Jo's around five. Busy day but we really enjoyed spending time with family.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve is a time for our immediate family. Grant got off work around noon so as soon as the kids woke up from nap we started our family activities.

First on the agenda was making sugar cookies. Both kids we standing in their chair waiting for a chance to help .

Addyson looks so sweet and innocent here. She loves to help but loves to eat also. She ate everything she could get her hands on; dough, spinkles, flour...

Here she is supposed to be puting sprinkles on cookies. Instead she is eating sprinkles and icing. :)

Hayden is taking his job seriously. He did a very good job!

This is Charlie our elf that visited us during the holidays. Hayden named our elf and looked forward to finding out where he was hiding each morning. I wish Charlie could stay around all year. Hayden knew that Charlie was going to tell Santa how he was acting.

Hayden is outside feeding Santa's reindeer.

Christmas with the Tapp's

Sunday afternoon Mom, Kelby, Kaleb, and Heather came over to celebrate Christmas.

Addyson got another baby doll with bottles. She is getting so good at taking care of her baby dolls.

Hayden got what he asked for John Deer boots. I don't think he has taken them off since he opened them.

Addyson doesn't realize that the stroller is for her baby dolls and not her. I'm afraid she will break it if she goes anymore. :)

Kelby was on the floor playing with Addyson.

Kaleb and Heather were busy setting up the bowling pins they got for Hayden. I didn't take as many pictures as I usually do but really like the ones I got.

We had a great afternoon together.

Christmas and the Orr's

Saturday afternoon we headed over to Dede and Poppy's house for Christmas. We had a wonderful meal of turkey and dressing with all the fixings. The dressing is always the best!!

Addyson was extremely excited about her first Christmas in the United States!

She enjoyed opening her presents. It may have taken her awhile to get them opened but she enjoyed the whole process.

You can tell that she really loved her presents.

Grant was his usual crazy self. I love all his expressions. The good thing is he never reads my blog so I can post this picture without getting into trouble. :)

When we were at Disney World in October Hayden fell in love with a certain Buzz lighyear toy. He was thrilled to open it and play with it.
The problem was it was really difficult to get out of the box. Uncle Anthony worked really hard so that Hayden could play with it.

Hayden also got a remote control car.
Poppy got some much needed new slippers. These are the ones that he has worn out.

Dede recieved a new light for outside.

Hayden's Christmas program

Last Thurday night Hayden had his Christmas program at school. Each grade level sings one or two songs. They let the preschool class go first so that they can then go sit with their parents.

As you can tell that Hayden is really into singing the song. It was a song about rhyming christmas words.

Here he is really trying to do the motions.

Addyson was dressed up for the occassion as well.

Neiter child acted good and Grant ended up leaving shortly Hayden's performance. I had to stay with my class until the end of the program. Hopefully next year will be better.

Christmas Parade

Last Saturday morning we headed to Murray for the Christmas parade. You can tell how excited Grant was about being there.

Addyson on the other hand was very excited and very cute.

Hayden was very excited about wearing his gloves, but they quickly came off when he couldn't pick up the candy with them on.

We were super excited that Layken was there as well. It was nice to get to spend some time with her.

I love my little pink marshmellow. She is is just so cute!!

Kid cuteness

This is Addyson's new smile. Isn't it cute! Right after you take her picture she wants to see it immediately.

We got a package in the mail this week. Hayden really enjoyed the packaging a lot! I on the other hand are still cleaning up little pieces from his good time.

Seseme Street & Bowling in one day

This was taken the day before yesterday but was to cute not to post. The goggles are Hayden's from school when he built a bug box.

We went to see Seseme street live yesterday morning. Dede went with us since this was not really a Grant thing. The kids really enjoyed the show. Addyson did great until the last ten to fifteen minutes. She was ready to go eat lunch.

Later after a much needed nap we decided to take Hayden bowling. He was super excited. He had played on the wii and knew the basic concept. This picture was taken right before his first turn.

This picture was taken right after his first turn. He wanted to carry his bowling so I let him. He didn't see the step up to the lane and fell on his chin.
After a few tears he was better and really enjoying himself. Addyson had fun too.

Grant and I took turns trying to help Hayden get enough power behind the ball to get it down the lane.

Where has this month gone?

I can't believe I have almost gone a month without posting any picture of my kiddos. We haven't really been up to much this month. We have had a busy week.
Monday night was CFSB night at Murray State University. The bank gave us some pretty cool t-shirts, a good supper, and great entertainment. We all enjoyed our night.

Hayden couldn't wait to see Dunker. Addyson on the other hand could have waited a couple of years before seeing him. I thought after going to Disney she would be less scared of people in costumes, but I guess not. We did get a good picture with Dunker though.

The half time entertainment was Grant wresetling. Grant is in the blue. He didn't win but he did have fun. I also have video of the whole thing if anyone is interested.

Dede and Poppy came to watch Grant and help me when Grant had to go down on the court. I appreciate them so much.

This picture is a couple of weeks old but I love the expression on Addyson's face. She is so cute. I walked into Ms. Cindy's today to pick the kids up and Addyson was in Ms. Cindy's lap. She was feeding a bottle to a eight month old baby. It was so incredibly cute.
