Circus!!!

I knew for a long time that the circus was coming to Murray but I was hesitant to buy tickets. The night shows didn't start until 7:30 and the one afternoon show started at 4:00 and I would have to take the kids by myself. So I didn't buy tickets. But my friend Melissa had an extra ticket and talked me into taking the kids. I'm so glad I did. Hayden and Addyson had a blast. We couldn't get the kids to look at us at the same time to take a picture but they sure were interested in them setting up the cages for the lions. Left to right is Sam Dobson, Addsyon, Hayden, and Jack Paul. Hayden and Jack play together at Ms. Cindy's house every day and have such a good time together. I did get a good picture of the three of us together. They really did have a good time. Addyson actually did better than I thought. She watched the first half of the show in my lap. The other half of the show she was squirmy like normal.

Outside Fun!!

Sunday after naps was the most fun I have had in a long time. The kids went outside to play and I was able to take several good pictures of them, especially Addyson. I even had a hard time deciding which ones to put on here.


This one is from Dede and Poppy's house. We went there Sunday evening for a family meal of homemade pizza!! Yum! Yum!

The kids played well on the swingset together.

At home Addyson climbed up our swingset by herself for the first time.

She even decided to go down the slide by herself. Just one time though. She was a little scared with how fast she went. Every time since then she has wanted to hold my hand as she slides down.

She did look happy after sliding down the first time.

I think Addyson is so funny here. I don't know when she started putting her hands on her hips like that or who she got it from but I love it!! She is laughing at something Hayden was doing.

Hayden doesn't really slide down. He more or less jumps down.

Sunday morning I painted Addyson toes. She sat pretty still through out the entire process. That is as still at an almost two year old can.

I just couldn't help posting this picutre. I think she looks so grown up with her pigtails and baby doll.

Loving the Springtime weather!!

This picture has been on my camera for some time. Hayden loves playing his Nintendo DS but really enjoys playing with his Daddy.


One afternoon this week we went outside to wait until Daddy came home. Grant quickly changed clothes and came outside and played with us. Tapper even got to join in the fun. Tapper got a hair cut this week and was very recently washed.

Addyson loved all over Tapper and showed us where his eyes, noes, etc......were.

Hayden found a stick that became his new favorite toy. Too dangerous for his little sister if you ask me.

Later for supper we grilled out. I gave Addyson some ketchup for a dipping sauce. Before I knew it she was licking the bowl. One of my children hates kechup with a passion and the other loves it enough to lick it out of the bowl. :)

Family Pictures

Last Saturday I scheduled to have our family pictures taken. Addyson and Hayden had changed so much recently and I am not able to get very good pictures of the two of them together.

I forgot how hard to could be to have two young children stay still long enough for someone to take their picture. Luckliy we were able to get some good ones of both kids. Grant thinks this one looks like an engagement photo. :)

Changing Beds!!

It was the time I dreaded with Hayden and now I feel the same with Addyson. It was time to change her bed from a crib to a toddler bed. She wanted her blanket and babies to sleep with her and always wanted to play with them. I just didn't like always getting them out and then finding them to put back in. So a toddler bed we hope will help.


Doesn't she look so grown up. She will be two before we know it.

After changing the bed we left to go play in Hayden's room for a few minutes. I cam back and found her laying on her bed drawing. I just thought it was precious.

So...I know longer have a baby anymore I have two kids who are gorwing up way to fast.
