I am totally going to have to play catch up so I can post first day of school pictures. In July we went to Church Camp for an entire week. The weather was BEAUTIFUL for the entire week. Some would even say they got cold.
One of the best things about camp is the food; even if you are too tired to enjoy it like Addyson was. One night they even grilled steak and fish for the staff. We all had to share the knife to cut the steak though.
All the activities are another highlight of camp. Hayden loved the sand and played there a lot with some boys from his cabin. Addyson played wherever there was people. The older girls let her participate in a shaving cream activity with them.
Addyson and I had fun in the cabin. She didn’t have a bed so she slept on an air mattress. She had no trouble falling asleep at night. Our good friend Lindsey was in the cabin with us as well.
Hayden really enjoyed camp during the day but struggled a little at night. He wanted his momma. By Wednesday night I gave him my phone with a picture of me on it so he could carry it to the boys side of camp. This seemed to really help him. He was a ham during skit night. He even took a bow in the middle of the skit when his part was finished.
On of my favorite parts of the week was spending time with my friends. I love these ladies and glad to have them in my life.
I also made new friends with Dana and Trina. They were in the cabin next door and we had a blast together. Here they are working on their skit which was hilarious!
