Harvest Time on Tapp Farm

Fall Break started off wonderful. Friday night we went shopping for some fall clothes for Hayden. He has outgrown all of his clothes. Saturday morning was very quiet until we headed to Grant's company picnic. We weren't there thirty minutes before Grant sprained his ankle in an inflatable. Sunday was rainy and relaxing. After church Sunday night we spend a nice eventing over at the Acree's house.

Monday morning Hayden and I headed to Sebree to spend several days. Monday was a picture perfect fall day. Before lunch Dad took Hayden and I out to the field where they were harvesting corn.

We got to ride in the combine with Keith. They were harvesting test plots so there were several people in the field. We would have to stop and dump the corn each time we went down the field.

After lunch we took a nap and then went back outside to play. Hayden could hear the other combine across the street harvesting beans but he couldn't see it.

Mom and I found this toy tractor that was Kelby's when he was little. Hayden would pretend that he was GG when he was driving the tractor.

He even knew that he needed it work on it. :)

Mom loved to push him around but I think Hayden love it more.
Tuesday was raining so we went shopping in Evansville. Kelby and Kaleb come over later that night to have pizza and hang out. Hayden loved playing rough with Kelby.
Wednesday we just hung out at the house. Kaitlyn and Heather came over to visit and play with Hayden. I came home in the afternoon.
I am spending the rest of the week cleaning house, working in my master's class, and getting ready for the next nine weeks. I am hoping I can talk Grant into going to the Murray State's Hoemcoming game on Saturday. We'll see.
