Right before bedtime tonight Hayden was in the corner of the living room playing with with a toy. I was sitting on the couch watching American Idol. I saw the toy drop and Hayden grab his face. By the time he made it across the room he had a knot right below his eye and it was already starting to bruise.
When Grant got home from playing basketball he laughed and was coaching Hayden what to say tomorrow when he goes to the babysitters. :)

Don't feel too bad. Ayla has a matching bruise that she got today when she and Ben collided in the kitchen and she went flying into the handle of one of our kitchen cabinets eyes first. :) She's fine though. Amazing how fast those little guys heal!
He looks so pitiful in the pictures. Do I need to come down there?! Grammy P.S. His haircut is cute - but he is too.
Oh Cassie. It's not at all your fault. Accidents happen. And whatever it was, he probably won't do it again. :) By the way, you should see the burn on AG's hand. It's not pretty, and I forgot to put the iron away. It was turned off, but not put up high.
Poor Baby; I'm sure Grant was telling him all kinds of great things to say! Don't feel bad Cassie. I know you are a great mom. And you said it yourself; you couldn't have stopped it anyway.
I know you felt bad...but you definitely could not have helped it. I think it might have been worse to watch it happen! Like most boys...I am sure he has a hard head, so he will be just fine! He growing so much...he looks like he has grown a foot and it has only been a few weeks since I have seen him!
