Thanksgiving with the Orr's

We enjoyed a wonderful meal over at Dede's house on Friday night. It took Hayden a long time to warm up.

Uncle Anthony was trying to teach Layken a song on the piano but Hayden wanted to join.

This is the newest member of the family, Alexandra. She is so precious.

Allison and Debby.

Hayden showing Daddy the big "ap" or apple.

Poppy is giving Hayden a pecan. He liked it a lot.

Layken and Hayden play so well together.

Hayden was letting Poppy hold him until I got the camera out.
Yesterday we took a quick trip to Nashville with Allison and got most of our Christmas shopping done.

Thanksgiving with the Tapp's

We spent Thanksgiving Day with the Tapp's. This is a picture of the whole gang minus just a few.
Hayden struggled warming up to the group so Grammy gave Hayden a sucker and that seemed to do the trick.

Hayden was so cute with Haddie. Hayden would crawl around so that Haddie could keep up with him and Gavin.

Both Gavin and Hayden loved Haddie's car.

Shane was video taping the kids playing together. He turned the screen around to let the kids see themselves. When Hayden went up to the camera he stuck his tongue out every time. It was hilarious. He was such a ham.

Aunt Jo spinning Hayden.

Gavin is so precious.

Uncle Kaleb watching the Titans play football.

Katie and Kelby watching the kids play and eating desert.
We will be enjoying Thanksgiving with the Orr's tonight.

Daycare Photos

Ms. Cindy gave me her photos this week for a special Christmas gift. Here are several photos of Hayden throughout the year at her house.

Hayden loves this blue riding toy. When I would come and pick him up he would not want to leave.

Look at Hayden sitting at the big kids table. This was his first day sitting there.

I am not sure of the story behind this picture. I can't imagine he got up there by himself.

These were taken just a few weeks ago. Ms. Cindy is so brave to let six two, three, and four year olds all paint at the same time.

It is always a big deal when a child transitions from sleeping in a pack and play to sleeping on the mat with the other children. Cindy always takes a picture of their first day. Isn't he cute!

Just a week early

I know what you are thinking....It is not even Thanksgiving yet, but Thanksgiving is in just a few days. After being in bed all day yesterday with a horrible stomach bug I didn't want to get out but wanted to get something done.
This is Hayden after his nap. I put several of the ornaments on while he was sleeping. I tried to do it while he was awake but he wanted to sit in my lap instead.

I love the look on his face. We are going to have such a wonderful Christmas.

I don't know if you noticed or not but there are not many ornaments at the bottom of the tree. I can already tell the ones that are near the botton are in danger.
Grammy, this one is for you. He has discovered bubble wrap. He has carried it around the house all afternoon. He has not quite got the hang of popping it yet, but knows that it does something.

My boy can dress himself

As you can see Hayden has done a wonderful job dressing himself.

Not...He found his pants from where he was potty training the previous day and put them on over his PJ's.

Hayden loves his balloon. I tied on his truck so it wouldn't float to the ceiling. This is a huge disadvantage of having vaulted ceilings.

Walk like Momma

The other day Hayden decided to try on my shoes. He did a really good job walking in my heels. He even put them on the right feet.

We have had a pretty quite week. Hayden was feeling better on Tuesday and Grant had the day off for Veterans Day so they came to have lunch with me at school. This weekend we don't have any plans, so we may just clean house and chill out.

Sick Day

Hayden has not been felling well the past few days. Today we just hung around the house trying to beat this sickness. Doesn't he look adorable looking for his Daddy to come home.

This is a cute picture of Hayden from this past weekend. I think he looks so small.

Last Tuesday I met mom and dad in Kuttawa for supper. We celebrated Dad's birthday. Hayden had a blast playing with Grammy and GG.

It doesn't hurt that Hayden has both of them wrapped around his little finger.

College Weekend

Grant, Hayden, and I had a wonderful time hanging out in Madisonville yesterday with our friends from college.

Hayden is examining the device in Grant's hand. They were playing a keep away game with a football. The device on Grant's hand let the ball know what team he was on. It can be a very phsyical game.

Hayden is watching everyone go after the ball.

Do you see the determination in Gran's eyes.

Oh...wait....he was determined to knock me down.

Happy Birthday GG

Happy Birthday GG!!! We love you a lot, and hope you have a wonderful day!!

Hayden wanted to be just like his dad. Uncle Kaleb, sorry about the outfit. We don't have a Titans one or he would wear that instead.

Hayden wanted to put the shoes on by himself.

He was very determined. Eventually he did give up trying to put them on his feet. Instead he decided to drive them around the room on his truck.

A day with Dede

Hayden spent the day yesterday with Dede. Grant and I went out to lunch and spendt the afternoon with some of Grant's friends from high school. Hayden had a lot of fun going to the park with Dede.
I love the look on his face when he finally gets to the bottom.
Hayden has never really been arounds cats. He seems to have really enjoyed playing with this one.
Isn't he so cute!!!
